Reports surfaced over the weekend that South Carolina offensive lineman Jacarrius Peak suffered a significant injury and will miss some time.
On Monday, South Carolina released the following statement to announce that Peak suffered a "lower body injury" and will miss spring practice.
Peark joined the Gamecocks this past January after spending four seasons at NC State.
