Mississippi State Hires Veteran Offensive Coach To Jeff Lebby Staff

Mississippi State is expected to hire Philip Montgomery as its next wide receivers coach and associate head coach for offense, according to multiple reports.
Montgomery was Virginia Tech's offensive coordinator last season before being named interim head coach in September, following the firing of Brent Pry.
Montgomery was the head coach at Tulsa from 2015 to 2022, followed by a year at Auburn as the Tigers offensvie coordiantor. He also has OC experience at Houston and Baylor.
