Texas Hires New Running Back Coach Chad Scott

Texas has hired West Virginia running back coach Chad Scott to be the Longhorns' new running back coach in Austin.
Scott has been at West Virginia since 2019, serving as offensive coordinator and running back coach. He was the run game coordinator in 2022 and was interim head coach in the Frisco Bowl this season after Neal Brown was fired.
Scott will replace Tashard Choice, who recently accepted the running back coach job with the Detroit Lions.
