Texas' Trevor Goosby Receives Injury Diagnosis After Scary Non-Contact Injury

USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Connect
Texas received encouraging news Tuesday regarding star left tackle Trevor Goosby, who suffered a non-contact left knee injury during Monday's practice.
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, an MRI revealed that Goosby suffered a bone bruise, avoiding a torn ligament or tendon. A timetable for his return has not yet been determined.
Goosby started all 13 games for Texas last season and earned first-team All-SEC honors. His status will be worth monitoring with the Longhorns set to host No. 1 Ohio State on Sept. 12.
