The Texas Longhorns landed a big commitment this weekend from No. 1 running back Derrek Cooper.
Cooper picked the Longhorns over Georgia, Florida State, Miami, and Ohio State.
The 6-1, 205-pound prospect from Hollywood, Fla. (Chaminade-Madonna High School) is rated the No. 2 athlete in the country and the No. 29 overall player for 2026.
