Long term Winter rentals

Other than Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, have any suggestions on long-term Winter rentals? Thinking about 4 months. Flexible. Like being near good restaurants. Hate the cold, but would not rule out a mountain rental for a month if the rates were good.
