Spent last week in Brazil for work, although been to SA many times it was first trip to Brazil.

Flew into São Paulo, but also visited Uberlândia and Campinas.

SP is unbelievably big, city as far as the eye can see in every direction. Took 2.5 hours to get from airport to hotel via taxi because traffic was so bad.

Flew to Uberlândia for a day and the Brazilian country side is beautiful- although outside of SP you are definetly in 3rd world.

Had dinner in Holambra where the Dutch settled and grow acres upon acres of tulips.

In general outside of SP the country is beautiful and very friendly people.

In the city a lot of crime and poverty.

On flight back had the new Polaris business class configuration and a great upgrade over old United bus class.

Oh, and Brazilian women- wow! Finest collection of OT 10’s anywhere.

Polaris feels exactly the same to me as the old United business class. What changed? Same shitty service and food/drink options.

Been a couple of times down there.

SP is just sprawl.

Rio is awesome if you are in the right area. Beaches in Ipanema are packed.

Buzios is amazing! Salvador is nice too.

Great country with friendly people.
