Here’s the situation.
I’ve been planning on upgrading my iPhone X and Apple Watch series 3 to the new models coming out in a few months. However in the meantime my devices have sustained some damage.
My watch’s screen is cracked and is completely unresponsive to touch. Side buttons and hey Siri still works so not totally out of commission. Fine with not getting trade in value on this, but, not sure I want to wait 3-4 more months.
My X is fine, but, the screen has started to come off at the top. Its not about halfway down the phone. Screen, everything works fine otherwise. I’ve read that can possibly be due to battery swelling. Bigger worry if I don’t get if fixed somehow is crap trade in value. I’ve got insurance through Verizon but it’s $200 to get a new phone. It looks like battery fix from Apple is only $69 but I’d be out of a phone then for however long it takes.
