Will the Pixel 3 be too small for someone coming from an iPhone 7 Plus?

I want to get the smaller Pixel 3 this year. I have ruled out the 3XL due to its notch and asymmetrical bezels. Something about that phone just sets of my OCD.
I like the design of the Pixel 3 much better and was wondering if it will feel too small coming from the large screen of the iPhone 7 Plus. Physically the Pixel 3 is closer in size to the smaller iPhone 7, but I'm afraid if it's narrow 18:9 aspect ratio screen will feel too small to get used to.
Thoughts?

I went from Pixel XL to Pixel 2 standard. I love it and don't miss the bigger phone one bit...Well...Maybe battery life. I was thinking of switching to Iphone for the next run...Maybe buying a used Iphone X. Why are you making the switch in the other direction?

I'm switching for the camera on the Pixel 3 and also I'm bored of using the same old iPhone and iOS for so many years. Good thing is that I mostly use Google Apps for everything and am not married to the Apple ecosystem. So I'm hoping the switch will be relatively easy.
