WiFi question

I have a wireless WiFi system in my house. On all my devices my download speed is dead on target. However, our laptop I’m only registering like 3 Mbps. The only things we use the laptop for is I play World of Tanks and also use the Microsoft Money program, which that program isn’t even an online app.
What could be causing this?

I bought a new laptop and the wireless antenna sucked. Bad speeds and kept dropping connection.
Ended up replacing it with this:
Intel Dual Band Wireless-Ac 8265 W/Bt
$25 from Amazon. Extremely easy to install...no problems since. May help.

good chance you have malware/virus/etc
could be too much stuff running in the background
have you connected using ethernet? If it's same speed, then you can mostly eliminate wireless card and other wifi components. Is the laptop farther away from the router than the other devices.
