Vimeo Pro videos question

My sons team paid an outfit to video our games. They are uploaded to Vimeo pro. They are ours to keep, but when you download them, you just get the .HTML. So they can only be viewed on the web. Is there a way to get them into a .mov or other format so I can edit out certain parts?
I am not very tech savvy, but can follow instructions pretty well.

No "Download" button? Occasionally, the publisher will disable downloads and the button will be hidden.

If you can't find the download button, it probably means the account owner won't allow downloads for this video. Contact the owner of the Vimeo account and ask him to change the privacy settings on this video per the image below:
