Video matrix and projector video wall

Doing a basement remodel and I'd like to install a projector for sports and movies. For sports, I'd like to project 2x2 video or any combination of 4 inputs at time. This is possible with a video matrix when using TVs in a video wall formation, but I can't seem to find something that will simulate that through a projector. Is that possible?

AFAIK you need an output device (monitor) for each source. I have never seen a projector that will display four sources at the same time and if one was out there I'd think it would be $$$$$$.
You're asking for a pretty complex video device.
What you need is a video multiplexer. I don't know what resolutions you're trying to output in the matrix so there's that as well to consider.
Extron Multi-Viewer
What you want to do will NOT be cheap.

Be wary. Many commercial, boardroom, conference room, operations center products are not designed to handle the HDMI handshake keys of HDCP 2.2.
Also, many are not designed for 4k televisions, but output 1080p, only.
One of the best out there is the RGB Spectrum Quadview UHDx Multiviewer. But, it'll cost you $6k. RGB
