Tablet Recs for General Home Use and Integration into Google Home Network/Home Theater

Looking for a new tablet. I have an ipad that needs to be tossed, its so old. Currently use an Iphone as well, probably wont change that to android.

Home network includes the Google universe, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku, FireSticks, Phillips Hue, Arlo and one echo dot.

Mostly will be used for internet browsing but also used as a screen controller for main HT system(Google, Shield& apps like plex, Receiver, TV) occasional controller for the Roku and fire sticks in other rooms, and screen for arlo cams. It will not be a full controller replacement though

I dont really need a laptop replacement either, just a tablet. I know nothing of the android tablet marketplace and it changes so often. What are some good options?
