Need help...i had a similar issue but now..
When turning tv on it takes up to 30 seconds for screen image to appear. Following that after another 30 seconds the sound goes mute and I have to switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 or vice a versa depending on what input was active when it was turned off.
TIA

Is the TV run through a home theater receiver or standalone?
If it's just the TV by itself, you might see if it has a way to clear the cache. Most TVs these days have very few parts. Inside the case is just the screen, speakers and circuit board. If it isn't not a damaged screen or bad speakers, then it's likely a board issue.

I only have a soundbar, PS4, and cable box...if thats answers your question.

Try connecting the soundbar via optical(toslink) cable to see if the problem goes away. Also, you might try a different HDMI port out to the soundbar. If your TV has an ARC enabled HDMI jack, that's the one that should be connected to your soundbar. It may have one, none or all might be ARC depending on your TV.

Forgot to mention, try different HDMI cables to make sure it's not a bad cable. A bad cable can be almost perfect, but have a bad strand that affects picture or sound in a weird way.
Lastly, disconnect everything from the TV, and see if the problem is present with just the TV by itself. If it still is, do a factory reset. If the problem is still there, might be a board issue.
