I tried Hulu before Youtube TV. Buffering constantly and the guide was absolutely trash back then. I know they've improved the guide but I never buffer with Youtube. It was constant on Hulu.
Admittedly, the live tv guide does suck. I don't use the live tv guide though. When you set up a Hulu account now, the app now asks for your favorite channels. In the home screen, you can cycle through all of the live content on your channels, what's popular on others, and by category. It is a pretty slick interface. But when you are in live tv mode, that guide (the traditional one) does suck. No buffering issues on my end though.

I just got Hulu.
Been on it for 6 months after trying Sling. Sling sucks compared to Hulu and YouTube didn't have all the channels we wanted for more money. Easy decision.
Saving about $150/month over cable right now. Eatel got ridiculous with their rates the last couple years.
