I'm looking at buying a doorbell camera on Prime Day, and the Blink is so much cheaper than the Ring. It looks like they do the same exact thing. Does anyone recommend the Blink over the Ring? Is there a huge difference? I feel like Ring is the go-to for everyone.

Amazon owns both of them. Basically the same, the subscription service is what costs money. I'm surprised they don't just give them away.

They both require a subscription to view cloud recording over a certain time frame.

Look at the Eufy with with local storage home base.

Same here. We use the EZVIZ DB1C doorbell cam and like it a lot. Going to buy another one for another entry door. It's an exceptional and unappreciated doorbell camera. When you compare the features and cost I don't see a better camera and deal out there for a subscription free doorbell cam.
