Problem With Fitbit Versa 2 Not Receiving Texts

Had a similar issue with my wife's Charge 3. I corrected it by going thru the app and resetting the notification settings. It resolved the issue for a little while (week to a month). After repeatedly doing this I just bought a true smartwatch and relegated the Charge 3 to my daughter.

my LG G8 had major bluetooth connection issues with my Fitbit Versa Lite..
Ended up just not using anymore..
compatibility issues is what i had read..
