At work I use an Apple iMac that is a 2-3 yrs old. Has an M1 chip if that helps. I have a USB-C to USB-C tether cable (used to connect a camera to upload usually). Possible to connect a WIN Laptop to use as an extended display? Thanks.

Sorry but I don't think this will work. One thing you can do is use something like Chrome Remote Desktop or Microsoft Remote Desktop on fullscreen mode and remote in to your laptop.

Thanks. After some research it seems to be the case. Something older 10yr models had that doesn't seem to be available on the new version. Was seeing if there were work arounds. I'll look into the option you mention, but sounds like it would still be a one display option still. I was hoping to have 2.
