Need a new router: OnHub or new Google Wifi?

I want to only buy one router for now. Which one gives me more bang for my buck? I'm looking at the Google Onhub by Asus or a single Google Wifi node.
The Google Wifi says it only covers 1500 sq ft with one node, and my home is over 1700. Will the Onhub by Asus give me more coverage with a single unit? They're the same price online right now ($129).
