Well I'm back and my Lutron switches are installed and they are great so far.
An issue I hope the board can help with:
1) Google Home sees my ceiling fan as a "light", therefore when I say "Living Room lights on" the lights and the ceiling fan turn on. Is there a way I can make Google not see the fan as a light or to create an exception? Does this work better if I go ahead and get a Smartthings hub to operate this stuff?
Clarification: I have titled it as Living Room Ceiling Fan so if I use that direct command it works that way. It's the subtitle category "Light" that needed to be removed. So right now I could say Living Room lights on and then ceiling fan off buts that clunky and dumb.
Creating another room for the fan so it isn't included in "living room" would probably work but not ideal.
Thanks again
