Laptop dual monitor

I want to get 2 monitors for my laptop and not use the laptop screen. I only have 1 hdmi output.
What do I need to make this a reality?

One easy way is to get a usb display dock like this one. Set your laptop power/sleep option to not turn off when you close the laptop lid, too.

Depends on the model of laptop. If it gets power through the usb-c port then it's super easy. Just get one of the last remaining usb-c docks available at 35% higher price than they normally sell for and you're good to go.
