Inseego hotspot to wifi extender

Like many here I had the att netgear setup for rural internet. It finally got zapped so I got a T-Mobile hotspot.
It works great but it only has a C port on it. I tried an adapter from C to ethernet to connect to my deco WiFi extender and no dice.
Anyone here know of a way I can connect this thing to an extender and charge any the same time? Thanks
