In between phone plans yet I can text

Canceled AT&T and yet to configure Mint mobile. I have not gotten my AT&T phone unlocked yet.... Am I just lucky or is there a grace period that your former carrier gives you for texts for emergency purposes? Because 95% of my needs are text based and I get to the Wi-Fi so why would I pay 70 a month for voixe?

You probably are using text over wifi. You pay the wireless companies for tower time/data.

Do you have an iPhone? imessages can work over wifi. try texting a friend with an android

Probably multiple databases and they haven't clicked the right box to remove you.
