I bought a TERK HD Antenna....Can't catch NBC and LPB?

I can catch all the other local channels and even a few from the acadiana area. But for some reason I can't get NBC 33 and LPB 27.
NBC came up when I auto programmed, but it says signal scrambled when I go to the channel.
LPB 27 doesn't even pick up when auto programmed.
Any pointers? Or better indoor antennas to buy?

Is your antenna in the attic?
I can't catch CBS where I'm at

I know this is about a TERK, but I have a Mohu Leaf and I get everything (I even pull major networks from a city 45 miles or so away)

No it's not in the attic. It's behind my TV up close to the window

I have a Terk amplified antenna in the attic. I found it works best in that part of the attic with only the roof sheathing between it and the signal. When I tried it in the core of the attic the A/C and the upstairs bathroom interfered with reception. That antenna is directional so you need to aim it properly. Go to tvfool.com to get the compass headings for the stations from your location. Use the compass in your smart phone to aim it.
I mounted my antenna on one of these ($12.99 at amazon) so it could be easily aimed and then locked in place.

Move it higher and test reception

If this is about the Terk HDTVa, that huge thing with the blades and amp, I found a Winegard Flatwave (similar to a Leaf) to work a lot better. The Flatwave even gets WAFB, and it's unamplified.

Just returned my terk to bestbuy today. After installing it I found that it just wasn't up to the standards I had built up in my head and read about online. I new I could get better. The model I had was a 60mile range and I too put it near a window next to my tv, pretty high up but not in the attic. I live in Madisonville just north of New Orleans, well within the 60 mile range.
I talked to a friend who lives in ponchatoula and he used this

and LOVES it. So I just ordered it. I'll give it a review on here in a few days after I get it setup.
