The Wyze doorbell (not the Pro which requires batteries) and the Wyze camera 3 are very inexpensive and can be monitored with cloud storage and notifications for just a few bucks per month. They also can do local storage if you don't want a monthly fee. They aren't the absolute best, but far and away the best bang for your buck that I've seen.
