Here we go again - ISPs in Baton Rouge?

It's that time, my contract is ending, time to start shopping internet service providers.
Currently with ATT and things are.. ok. I hate that I can't use my own modem. Ping sticks around 40-50ms to most servers.
So people in Baton Rouge, who are you using, whats your experience? Whats your speeds and ping look like? I'm in the Shenandoah area of BR. Mostly play games and stream up to 4k movies. Ping is king.
Anyone have Cox or Att Fiber?
