Help? My direct tv Gemini keeps rebooting when I go from firestick back to Gemini

Help? My direct tv Gemini keeps rebooting when I go from firestick back to Gemini
My firestick is plugged into sony tv.
My blu ray player and Gemini is plugged into pioneer receiver.
For 9 months no problems. Now all of a sudden if I am watching direct tv Gemini and go to firestick - works great but when I want to go back after using firestick to Gemini - the Gemini always reboot.
Rebooting takes about 3 minutes. How can I stop the rebooting Gemini after using firestick?
