Heads Up: Suddenlink LCH Customers

Hurricane Laura detached service line from pole and ripped box off my house, neither of which had been repaired 8 months after the storm. I requested my first work order 28 days ago, now at FOUR work order requests with escalation, all failed to be completed and with no communication from Suddenlink.
During my most recent go with Customer Service, started reviewing my statements from Laura-present and found the service interruption credits only covered a portion of monthly charges. I was offered a one-time credit ($20.00), not even enough to cover remaining April charges for services not provided, and told the “system” wouldn’t allow for additional corrections.
For 9 months now, Suddenlink has been charging for services they didn’t provide and weren’t equipped to provide with the state of disrepair. Ironic I’ve been charged a monthly “network enhancement fee” when they can’t even restore the network, much less enhance it.
Crooked fricks. BBB complaint filed and FCC is next. Just a heads up, go back through your statements. I’m sure I’m not the only one Suddenlink has been stealing from.

You need to talk to your state rep. Probably wouldn't hurt to also notify the public service commissioner.

I have found I get a much faster response by filling a FCC than a BBB when dealing with the likes of Suddenlink of ATT
Also, definitely contact your state representative in your situation. Here in Cenla, Michael Johnson loves to go after the scum that is Suddenlink

Quite a few municipals in arkansas have a lawsuit against Suddenlink.

Update: I’m on work order #6. Was contacted by some red dot at corporate office regarding BBB complaint. Work order #5 involved 10a-8p window for technician arrival and instructions for technician to call me if any issues. Found a missed appointment tag on my door a couple days later, technician showed up at 7:35p and did no repairs (all exterior), citing no one home, no phone call, nothing.
This last rep got stuck on whether or not my modem was working properly, despite the service line and box both in disrepair. It’s as if these work orders float into space and disappear. I’m at a loss as what to do. Suddenlink is my only option until ATT fiber install, and ATT can provide no timeline, with requests for technician contact going unfulfilled.
