Google Nest - Temperature Question

Installed a couple months back with no issue until last night - we noticed the cooling temperature was not dropping. Looked at Wiring info on the device and saw the G-wire was dimmed out. Attempted a couple fixes, including a factory reset, without much success. Ended up taking a cloth to the wire to wipe any debris/dust. Plugged the wire back into place and Wiring info showed that all wires were connected. Figured that should do it. Only setting I messed with after factory reset was disabling Power Connector because I have a C-wire. Since then, I've been running cooling - temperature isn't dropping (staying at a constant 73 degrees), but humidity is slowly decreasing.
Part of me wonders if this is simply an inaccurate reading by Nest since I just "installed" again after the factory reset. However, I can't help but wonder if there is something else I need to do since I really did not have this issue during my first installation. Any thoughts?
Thank you!

Did you spray foam behind it before installing?

I've randomly had issues with my Google Nest and it somehow getting out of sync with my blower/AC Unit.
May sound silly but a simple flipping OFF of the circuit that both the blower and AC unit reside, waiting 5 seconds and then flipping back ON did solve my problems.
Just an idea.
