Google Cloud Print was amazing but it got discontinued recently so I've been looking for a replacement. I have a high ranking co-worker who works from home and insists on using Google Remote Desktop instead of Microsoft RDP to connect to her office computer...but I need a way for her to print from it.

Alternatives I tried:
Papercut Mobility Print
Ezeep
HP Smart

All 3 are garbage.

Yea your Google Extension is called "Chrome Remote Desktop". That's what she uses but Google also had a cool feature called "Cloud Print" that enabled you to print from a remote computer to a local printer....but Google got rid of "Cloud Print" in December 2020.

So far the best alternative I've found is "Papercut Mobility Print"....but it definitely has it issues and doesn't maintain connectivity to printers.

Her current workaround to print something remotely is to email a document to herself or sync the file to One Drive.

"Microsoft RDP" has the ability to redirect local printers to the remote desktop session....but she refuses to use RDP because Google Remote Desktop is faster, less laggy, and has better resolution.

I'm currently working on a new project to setup RDP on Azure via cloud server on Windows Virtual Desktop....but I don't have that ready yet.

Not sure if RDP is going to be able to redirect printers through Azure and Windows Virtual Desktop, so I found a product that integrates with Azure called "Ezeep"....but so far my testing of "Ezeep" has been a huge failure.
