Your physical copy will degrade over time, and cannot be in more than one place at a time. Which is why you cannot legally make copies of the DVD, CD, etc.

The idea that you cannot create a digital copy of physical media YOU PURCHASED is absurd and will not last for long. Sharing it is one thing, making a back-up is something else all together.

We're specifically talking about sharing. It's ok to lend a DVD, because if your buddy is using it, you aren't. One digital upload can reach millions of people though.

I understand wanting to get something for free, and I'm not condemning anyone... It's really none of my damned business how you get your movie fix... But don't act like uploading a movie still in theaters for millions of people to watch for free is the same as lending a buddy your copy of The Godfather.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone know how PlayBoxHD iPhone app works? A friend I know downloads movies . She's never gotten a nasty-gram. Just wondering.

Exodus/Genesis, SALTs, ICE, etc.

Because those addons simply compile streaming links in a simple interface without all the ads.

I don't think those use P2P.
