Ceiling fan remote issues, how to reset and sync if there are no dip switches

OK I’ve got four brand new ceiling fans two of them synced up with remote controls perfectly and work great two of them refuse to work and refuse to sync with the remote controls. There are no dip switches in these as they are the kind where you hold the power button down when you energize the fan to make it sync with it. Does anybody know how to restore to factory default settings to the remote to try and get it to sync with the Fan??
Tech-support is worthless and of no help at all and I’d rather not go through the hassle of taking down these fans and returning them. I already threw one of the boxes away so I will have to order two new ones and then just swap them out but I would rather not do that and this is probably something simple like pressing a combination of buttons and going through a sequence with the switch and the remote.

It will never not piss me off that the ceiling fan industry got rid of the simple pull chain to change speeds on a fan.
