Car - iPhone audio/power adapter question

I have an older vehicle with aux audio input line. But when I use the belkin iPhone audio line in and power adapter, there is a lot of static that comes through (I exchanged my adapter for another one of the same model and the same thing happens). So my question is, does anyone know of another iPhone aux line/power adapter that will work better?
