Anyone have to deal with them with managed Ethernet services?
One time I called and got stuck in an Endless loop on options where I followed the prompts and ended up back where I started for an issue with their business center website.
Then I changed the option a had to leave a voicemail and wait to return the call even during their operating hours.
What kind of crazy customer service does one the largest telecommunications companies not have a live person to answer your calls?
AT&T
At least on the technical side you get to talk with a representative in India and then at some point if they cannot resolve the issue they can transfer you an American, hopefully. Unless they give you the runaround being passed from agent to agent.

I have dealt with a variety of AT&T services (colo, hosting, voice and data circuits) for more than 20 years. To say that they are the most difficult to reach and least responsive is the world's greatest understatement. The root issue is that the company, after its countless restructuring efforts, is still too segmented so the right hand has no way of knowing what the left hand is doing. You get passed over and over again to folks only to be told "our group doesn't handle that". I avoid them except in areas where I have no choice but to buy AT&T services. The one area where I will give them credit is that their circuits seem more reliable than most of their competitors. However, only God can help you if you need break/fix help or assistance of any type.
My advice would be to contact your sales rep every time you need help. They may get irritated and brush tou off but they are more likely to know who you can call than anyone else in that entanglement of a service provider. Luckily, my most recent rep for AT&T fiber always helped us out. Some of the others, unfortunately, were totally useless leading to hours of frustration. Good luck.

I can see why so many people would rather pay a little more and go with a a third party vendor who resells their last line of service or if they can provide services like Eatel or CenturyLink formerly Level 3, or Uniti.
