65'' or larger Smart TV

In the market for a new TV for my living room. My current one is 65'' and I want to be that size or bigger. Anyone know of the best deal coming up on BF? What are the minimum requirements I should look for? 4K? 1080P?

Just go get the 65" TCL 4K and call it a day. There may be better Tvs out there but with the lifespan on these things these days it's better not to go nuts on the $2-$3K "next big technology." Let them work the kinks out. Spend $1k on the TCL and be happy.

There should be Samsung’s and lg at $699 to $799 that meet these minimum requirement on Black Friday to cyber Monday that are non door busters. They are under that right now at distribution levels

Walmart is having the 5 series (last years model) TCL 4K smart tv 65 inch for $400.
I have the 6 series and love it. But it runs for like 900-1000. I would easily go with the year before for only $400

Is it the 5 series? On their Black Friday ad it says model 65S4 which is the 4 series. How big is the difference between a 65" 4 series and a 55" 5 series?
