I've had a Yamaha soundbar and bluetooth sub for the last 5 years and the sub just went out. We've always felt the voices were low compared to other sounds in movies. So I decided to get a receiver and component speakers.
I just ordered the following items and wanted to get opinions on it since I know nothing about this audio stuff.
Denon S540BT receiver
Klipsch RP-450C center channel
Klipsch RB-61 II L&R bookshelf speakers
Klipsch R-100SW subwoofer
I also got some 16 gauge speaker wire and banana plugs. Will this all work together? If so, hopefully it will sound better than my previous setup.

I changed the receiver to a Denon S650H.
And the sub to a wireless Klipsch R-10SWi for better placement.

Yes. And with the 2nd receiver you chose, you will be able to use twice the banana plugs (a set on the receiver end, a set on the speaker end). The first one has spring clips, so it wouldn’t take banana plugs.
I don’t think you’ll be upset with the sound you get out of this.
