US Soccer YouTube is run by imbeciles.

Why would the US Soccer channel upload a goal against us by Neymar?
This is what’s wrong with soccer culture here.

Eh...I get your point, but if you’re trying to inspire kids to start playing soccer, then it makes sense to show one of the top players in the world scoring. That’s what fans and potential fans of the game want to see.
ETA: Not to mention, the USMNT had no goals of their own to post.

Builds no interest in the national team. If anything it is detrimental.

Looks like they post a video of every goal in every game. They put up a video for Adams' goal against Mexico, Firmino's goal. Mbappe's goal against us, Green's goal against France, etc.

So how do you propose they try to spark some interest/excitement in a sport that plays second fiddle to football, basketball, and baseball? Wil Trapp highlight videos?
I understand what you’re implying, but no way will you convince me that the US Soccer YouTube sharing a top soccer star/teams goal against us is detrimental to US Soccer by any noticeable amount.
And as mentioned, they normally post every goal anyway.

It is usually in game highlight format, not “zomg how awesome! Neymar scored against us!”

But that's not what they did. The title of the video is "MNT vs. Brazil: Neymar Goal - Sept. 7, 2018". The description says "Brazil was awarded a controversial penalty after Fabinho gained entry into the box on the right before falling gracefully as he tried to penetrate between Trapp and Brooks. Neymar stepped up and slotted a low penalty to the right of Steffen to take a two-goal advantage into the locker room." The video and audio was taken directly from the broadcast.
They also posted videos titled "MNT vs. Mexico: Tyler Adams goal", "MNT vs. Brazil: Roberto Firmino goal", "MNT vs Bolivia: Tim Weah goal", etc. You're looking way too much into this.

Fair enough. Didn’t see those other ones. It was a different video naming convention than I had seen in previous browsing.
