if your ever on a motorway around Manchester after a utd home game its like watching a dam break the amount of "fans" leaving the city

Same with the trains. I had to go back from Manchester to London on a train a few times on a match day, fuuuuuuuck, forget seating room, there was barely standing room on a seating only train.

If my son ever puts on the wrong color red he better run.
Hey United, when you take Europe 5 times get back to us. You're not even the most decorated club in your own country. Yawn.
You'll Never Walk Alone.

Liverpool is the Alabama of the EPL. You haven't won shite for years, yet you constantly bring up the past glory...
Except Bama actually won something this year.

I know, right? 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007 never existed. I forgot about that, thanks for reminding me.

Meh. Thats like hanging a banner in your stadium for being Co-SEC West champs. And yes, I know that isn't Bama.

haha thanks for "giving" it to us, but im pretty sure we earned it that year. One of the greatest, if not THE greatest CL final in the history of the sport.

2001
FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup Champions in the same year is what you call hanging a co-champs banner? I guess we can just agree to disagree. I call that success. And your argument was that we hadn't "won anything" in years. Though not a true treble, its still a treble none the less and thats impressive.
And I'm not even counting the Charity Shield win. Technically thats "winning something," though not all that big of a deal.
2007
Not as impressive but we did make it to the champion's league final and were one shot off the crossbar away from repeating 2005. Making that final is accomplishing something. Its not easy to do. Especially in the manner in which we did it, and the teams we beat. I still say we were the best side in Europe that year. Sometimes the cards don't fall like you want them to though.
So in effect you've managed to point out 1 year in which we really hadn't won anything, and in that year we made the hardest and most sought after (besides the WC) tournament's final. I'm ok with that.
Bama we are not.
