RvP chokes in a 2 on 1 situation. Not like Chamakh would have finished it anyways though...

reading from twitter, seems like the lack of offense can be attributed to RvP and Chamakh not linking well, Arashavin having one of his frustrating quiet games, and the selection of Denilson and Song playing together, who both lack creativity.

The fact that Wenger thinks we don't need to upgrade defensively is very depressing.

Leauxgan: Arshavin has been horrific, Song and Denilson don't have any creativity. RvP is better at making that last decisive pass than he is at coming back to the halfway line and setting things up. Also, very true about he and Chamakh.

For anyone but Arsene, not qualifying in this group would be a fireable offense.

what's our qualifying scenario? I thought we could get through with any result, or do we need a win or draw?

I've never seen Arshavin play so bad.

Right now Partizan is as likely to score a winner as Arsenal.

We're level on pts with Braga who is 0-0 with Donetsk. We need a draw as it stands. If Braga win, we need a win.

Walcott coming on. Hopefully for Arshavin.

Arshavin off. 56% of his passes were completed.

Samir Nasri has decided to end this game

3-1

surprised by the agility of Alex Song to sneak in that assist. great footwork

Now that's more like it! Great team goal and Nasri with a clean left footed finish.
