Cavani out. What little hope for deep run has evaporated.

I spent days in mourning.

Now I realize that Cavani, age 31,just lost his only chance at soccer greatness..
He was on way to competing for golden boot. He was on his way to competing for the world cup.

Now he's just hoping he can recover and be back to form for psg and his family.

Alas.
Everything changes.
Everything comes to an end.
The Uruguayan u20 just finished 4th in world. Hope springs eternal.
Endless repetition.

The next man up. Uruguay hasn't decided whether to add an extra mid fielder or the backup striker. Cavani was high motor, helped on defense.
Alas.

Its going to be hard to watch.
I knew it was going to be tough even with Cavani.
Lots picked France to win it all on the TD pickem.
No one picked Uruguay, not even me. I was hoping for 3rd place.
