What most stood out to me was how vanilla LSU's defense was. (I expected Jefferson to struggle so that wasn't a surprise.)
I got back to the Alabama/Tennessee game in 2007 when JPW absolutely lit up the Chavis "D." Chavis is just too vulnerable to the pass.

The underneath passes eat us up. WVU did the same thing. McElwain had an excellent gameplan.

I agree to an extent, but being on the field the majority of the game doesn't help either. McElwain deserves a lot of credit for what he did as well. Just a good old fashioned arse whipping
