Bad idea. Even if it worked they would still be in their own half and its far from guaranteed that they could even get a field goal out of it.
They need field position (without risking us having it on their 45 or so). Best way to do that is kick it off, force a 3 and out and they're certainly capable of that even if they haven't done it tonight.
