sincerely hope you're right but there seems to be an opinion that says Nancy has a great deal of discretionary power even after a vote is taken to keep GOP at bay.

I am with you there....but what is the alternative? IF she doesn't impeach and Barr/Durham continue with impunity, the Dems are in big trouble.
The hail mary impeachment is her only play....
