tl;dr: The judge is a pathetic hack for allowing Bragg to try to twist this into a felony, because there is no felony offense... campaign finance law is a federal matter and, as everyone knows, the two federal entities that handle this passed on pursuing this. There is also no basis to claim anyone was "defrauded." If the jury is even remotely sane this would be a slam dunk for Trump's team to get it knocked down to a misdemeanor at the very least (for which the statute of limitations has already passed).

Just think how many strikes on the jury already. That means their jury pool is extremely biased.
