The question is would a modified flat tax system work and would you be in favor of a system like this?

Yes it would work but it's racist

It happens regardless

Their stock prices go up which in turn raises the value of over 100million Americans 401ks

Ok great. The premise remains. The 250k guys pays 15x the taxes but costs the govt the same amount maybe even less as successful people tend to be healthier and more productive. What a privileged a-hole our 250k guy has turned out to be.

OR, just maybe, possibly they could lower prices which benefits everyone and THEN they would have increased demand and THEN, what happens?????? Oh yeah!!!! You have to hire more people to make your shite, more drivers to deliver it, rent more shelf space to bring it to market causing what? Johnnny!!! Tell him all about it. The overall economy grows.

This really isn’t that hard. Yes, I mad.

Do you even understand supply and demand?

Prices naturally lower through innovation and market forces.

Microsoft: A convicted Monopoly...
charges only twice the price of Windows that they did way back in 1990

Does anyone actually believe that even that shitty product isn't a million times better for around half the money(adjusted for inflation)

I get that but trying to pull $3,500 from a guy making 35k is as useful as trying to squeeze water from a rock.

You're just comparing the sizes of the rocks. That doesn't work.

There has never been a tax code like that nor would there ever be.

So what.

That has nothing to do with the OP.

Either way, the main point remains. Why should someone have to pay a higher rate because they have more. It's beyond silly.

I totally understand supply and demand. So much so that I know if a product becomes more profitable due to say, lower taxes on the net, supply sees upward pressure due to other entities realizing they can make money doing the same thing too.
