Protection of Federal Buildings

Whether it be the Capitol or a federal building in Detroit, if someone attempts to do harm to someone in or around the building or damage the building itself, why can’t security forces mow them down? Seems as though it would have rid ourselves of out of control rioting criminals due to BLM, the so-called “steal”, or whatever movement du jour.

Because this is the United States, not China, Russia, or Iran.

You’d think border patrol could do this too with legal authorized force, but we just let them in.

After Oklahoma City the federal building here in Tuscaloosa got a wrought iron fence installed around the entire building.
Everywhere except for the delivery ramp. You could just backup an 18 wheeler, jump out and run away. Then BOOM.
Stupidest thing. Waste of money.
