Political Capitalism and the Reckoning of Joe Biden

What kind of situation would the Democrat candidate be in right now if the Democrat primaries had been a fistfight instead of everyone patting each other on the back and agreeing not to go scorched earth? What if the news was the news and not the arbiter of Trumps opponent?

The Democrats rolled the dice on name recognition alone with no regard to character and they are reaping the whirlwind. Imagine what kind of situation they would be in if they had gone with Buttigieg or Gabbard. They would still have their insane base because OMB and there would not be the October surprise to end all October surprises.

If the Democrats had a true primary, a free for all where anything goes, this information would have been out there and their constituents could have made an educated (yeah right) decision. If I were a Democrat, I would be furious right now this was kept from me in the beginning.

Make no mistake, people in Washington have been aware of this situation for years.
