This is the biggest issue and it has been for decades.
A GOP voter can agree with a Repub candidate on the vast majority of things, but if there are one or two positions they are not in agreement the voter sits home on his couch and pouts while the dem, who he doesn't agree with on anything, wins.

He’s a wet dream for the Dems. Destroys his own party candidates and is a turn out machine for them.
Exactly why they want him at the top of the ticket.
