It all seems so simple

Illegal alien commits a crime. ICE places retainer requesting local authorities to hold the law breaker.

Sanctuary’s cities refuse the request and instead release the criminal back onto the streets.

This forces ICE to find and detain the suspect which accrues further risk to the public and ICE agents.

This leads to ICE requesting local LE for back up which the mayor and governor refuse.

Instead the local politicians ask for protestors to impede and obstruct lawful actions of ICE, intentionally placing their own constituents in harms way which eventually leads to violent interactions.

This leads to further escalation of rhetoric from the local politicians.


Bottom line, if the mayor of Minneapolis and gov of Minnesota had simply allowed ICE to take custody of criminal illegals when detainers to be held were made none of the BS that is happening now occurs.

This entire stream of violence lays at the feet of the mayor and governor.
