If being black is a disadvantage in our society...

Then why did Obama and Harris decide to identify as such when they could have legally identified as a different race? Obama is just as white as he is black, and Harris is just as Indian as black.

Its almost like there may have been some sort of advantage in identifying themselves that way.

Being black is a major disadvantage if you are gunned down by another black.

It doesn't make sense. People who are half white and half black are considered "black" and calling them white would probably offend them.

Yet, equal parts. What gives?

I've pointed this out a few times. If being white is such an advantage why do white's hold a monopoly on identifying as something else?

White parents will go to great lengths to check any box other than "white" on their kids college application.

I don't know of a single mixed race person (friend or national figure) who identifies as white.

Whites hold a monopoly on pretending to be another race; the white NAACP gal, TalcomX, Elizabeth Warren

You'd think folks would line up to be "white" given the privileges we enjoy
